Stephen C. Belichick, an American football coach who oversees the outside linebackers for the National Football League's New England Patriots, was born on March 25, 1987. 

(NFL). Since he started coaching in 2001, he has served as the team's defensive assistant and previously served as the safeties coach.

Belichick was hired by the New England Patriots on May 10, 2012, as a coaching assistant, a position he would hold for four seasons before being named the team's safeties coach before of the 2016 campaign.

As the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, he took home his first Super Bowl trophy. 

Belichick was a member of the Patriots' coaching staff that won Super Bowl LI on February 5, 2017. 

In the game, the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons in overtime, 34-28.

After longtime assistant Brian Flores departed to take over as the Miami Dolphins' new head coach for the 2019 season, Rams in Super Bowl LIII, he won his third Super Bowl championship.

Belichick took over Flores' defensive play-calling responsibilities while simultaneously serving as the team's secondary coach.  After the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles

It was revealed on July 28, 2020, that Belichick would take over as outside linebackers coach, leaving his brother Brian in charge of safeties.
